The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint is a safe place to learn, grow, and have fun.
It is truly the positive place for kids.
The Club reopened its doors in 2004 to serve youngsters between the ages of 7-17 in Flint and the surrounding areas. Open after school, in the summer and for occasional weekend events, the Club offers many positive and fun programs to its 1,800 members. The Club serves between 80 and 120 kids per day after school and an average of 480 to 500 per day in the summer. With two locations, Averill Avenue Unit (located at 3701 N. Averill Avenue, Flint 48506) and Haskell Youth Center Unit (located at 2201 Forest Hill, Flint 48504), the BGCGF is conveniently located in central neighborhoods.
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint gives children an opportunity to elevate themselves in the community. The building-centered effort provides a safe haven for children. Programs are designed to benefit children socially, physically, economically and educationally, building a foundation for future successes personally, and leading to a positive future for Flint and Genesee County.
The mission of the Boys & Girls Club is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
